U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $337.6 million in net inflows during the August 24 session, marking the sixth consecutive day of inflows for a total of $2.26 billion, according to SoSoValue. Leading the gains was BlackRock’s IBIT with approximately $209 million, according to Wu Blockchain.

The Ether segment moved in tandem: spot Ether ETFs added $115.6 million on the day, lifting the six-session total to around $812.8 million. BlackRock’s ETHA alone accounted for $90.92 million of that figure. BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager overseeing roughly $15.3 trillion, led inflows across both fund categories.

The cumulative scale is mounting significantly. Inflows over the past six sessions narrowed year-to-date net flows to roughly negative $2.57 billion. Last week alone, the funds took in $1.92 billion, their strongest week since October 2025. Cumulative inflows since launch have reached $54 billion, bringing total net assets to $98.56 billion.

The Fear & Greed Index has remained in “Greed” territory since Thursday and currently stands at 74, its highest level since October 2025.

The strong return of institutional capital aligns with the price rebound, standing apart from the retail leverage narrative behind the recent short squeeze. On one side are steady fund flows; on the other are futures positions vulnerable to cascading liquidations. The next development to watch is how sustainable this inflow streak will prove to be, and whether BlackRock leading in both BTC and ETH will usher in a broader rotation into Ether.
